Holualoa Village comes to life this weekend with its monthly Art-After-Dark and the 18th annual Coffee & Art Stroll.
From 5:30-8:30 p.m. this evening, art galleries and shops will stay open late to welcome visitors and friends and local musicians will fill the air with everything from classic Hawaiian music to rock ‘n’ roll for the monthly Art-After-Dark event.
In celebrating the Kona Coffee Cultural Festival, Holualoa Village’s 18th annual Coffee & Art Stroll runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. The annual event draws more than 2,000 coffee fanciers during the all-day affair.
Thirty-four local farmers will be offering free samples of their best brews along the 0.5 mile of Mamalahoa Highway that makes up the historic coffee town above Kailua-Kona. All of the village art galleries and shops will be hosting Big Island coffee farmers and a half dozen vendors will also be offering foods.
Limited parking will be available at the Holualoa School and Village Parking lot, as well as the Imin Center. Car pooling is recommended.
The Coffee & Art Stroll is hosted by the Holualoa Village Associaion and Kona Coffee Farmers Association. Sponsors are the Kona Coffee Cultural Festival, Holualoa Inn, Buddha’s Cup Kona Coffee and Koa Realty.
